Rio Secreto is an amazing adventure that takes place in one of the most stunning locations of the Mayan Riviera. Go into the center of the earth inside a millenary cave full of fantastic secrets for your eyes to discover.

We take you to a natural reserve where you will follow our professional guides and a dive master who will equip you with a wetsuit, helmet, lamp and wet shoes to star the adventure of your life.

As you enter the cave you will feel the silence of the underworld, explore for an hour and a half the kaleidoscope of crystalline waters of this secret underground river and marvel with its incredible natural passageways formed by millions of years geological processes.

The last route of this magical experience will require you to swim and walk through thousands of stalactites and stalagmites that make this subterranean world surreal and one of a kind. At one point the lamps go out and everyone reminds in silence feeling the sound of silence in the center of the earth. After this unique journey enjoy a delicious lunch and take the time to relax and let the wonderful experience of Rio Secreto sink in.

Transportation to and from the site is provided in unique all-terrain Mercedes Benz Unimog's vehicles. And upon arrival you will get all the necessary instructions and training to safely enjoy this exciting experience.

Notes

What to bring:
Bring comfortable clothing and walking shoes, (no flip-flops!). Swim suit, t-shirt and extra set of dry clothes.

Health Related:
This expedition is not recommended for people weighing over 250 lbs., those with severe back problems, any severe physical or motor handicap, and serious heart problems or for those who suffer from claustrophobia or do not swim. Children under 6 years, pregnant women and people under the effects of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate in this expedition.
