History

Cozumel Island was a sacred site where Mayan woman became to worship the Maya goddess of fertility, Ixchel. It remained a little fisherman village until the sixties when Jacques Cousteau discover its amazing underwater world and it became known as one of the most beautiful reefs for scuba diving in the world.

Since then Cozumel has changed from a little fishing community to popular but still quiet destination. Transforming itself into a major port of call for the most important cruise lines in the Caribbean.
