Experience a 3 day journey of discoveries in the Yucatan. We take you to see the foremost destinations of this region, Chichen Itza, Kabah and Uxmal Mayan sites and the beautiful colonial cities of Merida and Izamal.
Day 1: Cancun - Chichen Itza – Merida (320 km)- Pick up at your resort in Cancun and transportation and tour of the ancient capital of the Mayan culture, Chichen Itza. Founded in 445 B.C. it was the most important city of the splendor period of the Mayan culture and the most spectacular ceremonial center in this area. Follow our guide and get a comprehensive explanation of Kukulkan’s pyramid, the Temple of the Warriors, the biggest ball game court in Latin-American, the Cenote of sacrifices and more.
- Enjoy a delicious Mexican lunch based in the exquisiteness of Yucatan’s recipes.
- Transportation and overnight at the City of Merida. Take advantage of the free afternoon to explore the White City of Merida founded by Francisco of Montejo in 1542. This quaint city is full of inviting colonial buildings, culture and history.
 Day 2: Merida - Kabah / Uxmal – Merida (80 km one way)- Breakfast at the hotel in Merida.
- Transportation and tour of the great Maya site of Kabah. This is the second largest site in the Puuc region famous for the Palace of the Masks, with hundreds of masks of Chaac, god of the rain, in its façade. Walk through the large arch and the sacbe (white path) connecting to the Uxmal site.
- Transportation and guided visit of the Mayan site of Uxmal, declared by UNESCO as a world heritage. The elegant and beautiful buildings of Uxmal site are amazingly well preserved; tour the Governor’s Palace, the house of the Turtles and the Pyramid of the Magician, just to name a few.
- Transportation back to Merida and overnight.
 Day 3: Merida – Izamal – Cancun (346 km)- Enjoy the free morning to visit the charming museums and markets nearby Merida’s city square center, or go shopping for hammocks, native art or handicrafts beyond compare at the best prices.
- Transportation and visit of the colonial city of Izamal, also called the City of the Three Cultures because of how its Pre-Hispanic past, colonial period and current culture blend together. Feel the peace of this city with its yellow buildings everywhere, beautiful monastery, Mayan ruins and warm people.
