Day 1: Cancun-Uxmal-Merida (310 km)

- Pick-up at your Cancun resort's lobby and transportation to Merida.

- Arrival and registration in Merida's hotel and free time to eat before departing to Uxmal.

- Transportation and tour of the finest archaeological site of the Yucatan Peninsula, Uxmal. Among the stunning architecture examples that you can admire during your guided visit are the: the Fortune-Teller's Temple, the House of the Turtles, the Governor's Palace, the Nunnery and more. Climb to the summit of these magnificent structures and admire amazing scenery of this half square mile ancient Mayan city.

- Take a break and delight you palate with a fine dinner of the best gastronomy Mexico's has to offer.

- At nightfall, we return to the archaeological site to experience the renowned Uxmal Light and Sound Show; considered as one of the best spectacles in the world. See this ancient building light up as a narrator accompanied by the music of drums and flutes relates the history of Uxmal.

- Return to Merida and free evening to enjoy the colonial richness of this beautiful city.

Day 2: Merida-Izamal-Chichen Itza (123 km)

- Tour the historical downtown of Merida, also known as the White City. This town is full of culture, history and a truly unique atmosphere. Visit the Governors Palace that displays beautiful murals with the history of Yucatan, the famous Montejo House, the Cathedral, the theater Peon Contreras, the University and endless historical buildings.

- Transportation and tour of Izamal. Famous for its beautiful yellow buildings that dominate the scenery, Izamal, is considered as the oldest city in the Yucatan. Visit the great 17th century monastery dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua and see some of the houses that are colonial gems and symbols of religious cultural legacy.

- Transportation and tour of the archaeological zone of Chichen Itza. Granted the status of one of the new 7 wonders of the world, Chichen Itza is former Mayan city full of mysticism, art, majestic pyramids and temples. Take a guided tour of the Kukulkan Pyramid, the Temple of the Warriors, the Ball Field and the Observatory, and immerse yourself in the grandeur of the Mayan civilization.

- Transportation back to Cancun, sightseeing of Valladolid city on the way back and arrival at your resort.
